• Remove cars from driveway and in front of home

• close garage doors

• Take care of landscaping (mow the lawn, trim bushes and trees)

• Remove empty planters or replace fresh flowers

• Clear cobwebs from under decks/awnings/door frames

• Remove water hoses / gardening supplies / children's toys / sports items

• Tidy porch, outdoor tables/cushions/chairs

• Have pool clean and remove excess pool supplies (cleaner/hose/vacuum)

• Remove all trash & recycling cans

Interior House Prep Tips

• Deep clean your home (vacuum, mop, wipe counter tops, windows, mirrors, surfaces)

• Turn all lights on (ceiling fans off)

• Open window treatments (blinds/curtains) to let in the outside light

• Remove personal belongings (photographs, toys, etc.) 

• Hanging picture frames: replace with colorful paper / generic landscape portraits

• Kitchen: clear countertops completely with exception of decorative item/canisters, clean fridge door, hide garbage cans, empty sink, remove cutting boards 

• Dining Room: Use decorative place setting or feature decorative centerpiece like fresh flowers

• Bedroom: dress beds and add decorative pillows/blankets, clear nightstands, hide charging cords

• Bathrooms: Clear countertops, polish mirrors, close toilet seats, remove items from shower/tub, set out fresh towels

• Pets: Remove all pet items and supplies, tuck food bowls/beds/leashes in closets, hide away crates and other item
